Mumbai City FC played a 0-0 draw with ATK at the Mumbai Football Arena. It was the second scoreless draw of this season's Hero Indian Super League after the 0-0 draw between Delhi Dynamos and Chennaiyin FC in the second week of October.

With Kalu Uche and Emiliano Alfaro injured, the goalscoring bite was stolen from ATK and it showed in the stalemate. Mumbai City FC took advantage of this fact and kept their fifth clean sheet of this season.

The scoreless draw denied Mumbai City FC to extend their winning streak to 4 matches, which is a feat only achieved by Bengaluru FC in the history of the Indian Super League.

The match never got off to a start with an eventless first half followed by a cagey second half. The second half had some half chances and good set piece deliveries that were not converted into goals.

Let's now have a look at the five hits and flops from the match.

Gerson Vieira was excellent in the holding midfield role against Mumbai City FC. The former Mumbai City FC midfielder stopped many attacking moves from his former team in initial stages.

He made three interceptions and one tackle in the first half alone and was excellent in the second half as well.

A free kick from Manuel Lanzarote found the 26-year old but he headed it just over the Mumbai goal under pressure from Lucian Goain.

The clash of heads in the attempt for the header left both Vieira and Goain hurt. The Brazilian ended up playing the rest of the match with a bandaged head.
