ISL: Semi-final fixtures and schedule
After 56 games in the Indian Super League, the tournament has finally reached the semi-final stage with four teams to battle it out for a place in the final on 20 December. The four teams that have reached the semi-final are Chennaiyin FC, FC Goa, Atletico de Kolkata and Kerala Blasters FC.
Chennaiyin were the first team to qualify and topped the table with 23 points from 14 games. Goa finished second after the 1-1 draw in their final game against Kolkata. Goa finished a point behind Chennaiyin (22) while Atletico finished third with 19 points.
Kerala Blasters finished fourth and clinched the final semi-final spot, also finishing on 19 points but with a goal difference of -2. Atletico had a superior goal difference (+3) even though they won only four games compared to Kerala’s five wins.
The first leg of the semi-finals will take place on December 13/14 while the second leg will take place on December 16/17. The first place team will take on the fourth-placed team while the second placed team will take on the third-placed team.
