James Anderson goes full John Terry during Ashes celebrations

Jimmy with the ‘Urn’

England’s injured paceman James Anderson was seen celebrating with the team after the final Ashes Test ended, even though he was ruled out of the Ashes after injuring himself in the side waist area, he came on to the pitch in full England cricket team’s kit and celebrated as if he was part of the team from the start.

Injury couldn't stop Anderson from joining England's celebration, in scenes which were reminding people of Chelsea football team's captain John Terry and his character after winning the 2012 Champions League finals. "More than one thing for me is that we lost the game, I've not played either so I feel a bit like John Terry," he said.

Chelsea’s captain Terry was never far from controversy, even when he hasn't kicked a ball. He was banned from playing in the 2012 Champions League final where Chelsea eventually defeated Bayern Munich to lift the trophy. Terry, who enjoyed the full match from the stands, came down after the final whistle was blown, dressed in full kit, and became the part of the final celebration. This was something weird and which happened for the first time.

The fast bowler played an important role in guiding England to victory in two of the first three Tests, especially at Edgbaston when he took 6-47 in the first innings to destroy the Aussie batting line-up. Australia won the final Ashes Test by an innings and 46 runs, but lost the 'urn' by 2-3 to the hosts.
