Jamie Vardy trolls Harry Kane with hilarious twitter image after Leicester City's title win

The two strikers will be on the same side for the Euros

Leicester scripted the most incredible of footballing stories last night after winning the Premier League title. The Foxes started as 5000/1 favourites to clinch the trophy but it turned out that it was just another number for this incredible team.

The Foxes managed a point at Old Trafford on Sunday as Wes Morgan cancelled out Anthony Martial’s early opener. That meant Tottenham Hotspur had to win their game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge to keep the title race going until the end.

But it wasn’t to be as Spurs threw away a 2-0 lead to eventually draw 2-2, thus ending their title hopes. A lot of credit definitely goes to the Londoners for putting up a marvellous fight but in the end, the best team this season were crowned champions.

Jamie Vardy wasted no time in trolling his England teammate Harry Kane. Just minutes after the draw he posted this picture on his twitter account:

The reason for that was simple. It was in response to an Instagram post that Kane had put on his account a few weeks ago.

The picture obviously depicts that he and Tottenham were planning to hunt the Foxes down like a pack of lions. But now we all know how that story turned out and Vardy came up with the perfect response using a picture of Mufasa’s famous fall from a cliff in the Lion King.

Kane did get on the scoresheet last night putting his team ahead. South Korean Heun Min Son made it 2-0 before the break giving the away side a huge advantage. Everyone thought that would mean Leicester would be denied the title.

But the Lilywhites couldn't keep their composure and ended up throwing away the lead and the title as Hazard scored the goal that won it for Leicester City. The game was a nasty affair and after the end of the 90 minutes several Spurs and Chelsea players were involved in a bust-up.

But nothing would spoil Leicester’s night as Vardy and Co. celebrated their title win in style. This will go down as one of the greatest ever sporting success stories in history and Jamie Vardy’s rags to riches story has now become a reality.
