Jimmy Kebe jokes that he is moving to the Toon

Reading player, Jimmy Kebe, mocks Newcastle’s French buying policy making a joke he is moving to the Toon. Newcastle have a majority of French players and Jimmy Kebe jokes about this by tweeting the following:

Kebe, 29, is French born but has represented Mali at international level. He joined Reading from French club Lens in 2008.

Newcastle are also reportedly working on deals to sign two more French players in the shape of Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko and Nancy left-back Massadio Haidara.

His Reading team-mate Danny Guthrie expressed shock at the joke, tweeting: “Just read @jkebe tweet and shit myself!! Don’t do that again”
