Jose Mourinho's son signs for Fulham for a season
The son of Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has inked a season-long deal with Fulham, the Daily Mail reports.
Jose Mario, who plays as a goalkeeper, has joined Fulham’s youth team following a successful trial at the club.
The 14-year-old has had a stint in Real Madrid’s Canillas team while his father managed the Spanish giants.
A Spanish tabloid, Marca states that the younger Mourinho chose not to join his dad at Chelsea, opting to sign for Fulham’s Under-14 team instead.
A player of his age is only permitted to sign a contract for one season while playing abroad.
Jose Mourinho’s father, Jose Manuel Mourinho Felix also played as a goalkeeper and was capped for Portugal in the 1970s. Now the younger Mourinho hopes to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps.
