Juventus News: Sporting director claims only Lionel Messi could be signed to replace Dybala if he leaves
What’s the story?
Juventus rolled back the years to bring the glory back to the Serie A with the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid. Ever since that move, a lot of top-class players have been linked not only with the Old Lady but also some Serie A clubs in general.
And now, Juventus director Fabio Paratici has claimed that the only upgrade to Paulo Dybala is Lionel Messi.
In case you didn’t know…
Ever since Juventus signed Cristiano Ronaldo, the Argentine youngster has seen his indispensability take a hit. On top of that, there have been some problems between Dybala and Allegri, which has resulted in him not playing a lot of late, igniting stories of him leaving the Turin outfit.
The heart of the matter
However, Paratici has confirmed that he is not willing to let go of Dybala and the only players that leave Juve are the ones that want to go. He also added that the only viable option to replace the former Palermo star is Barcelona captain Lionel Messi as he doubts whether even Neymar would be a right fit.
"Dybala stays, Juve sells a player only if he wants to leave,” he said. "Ours are difficult to improve. I could get an upgrade on Dybala only with the signing Messi, while with Neymar I would have doubts.”

What's next?
There have been stories of a feud between Dybala and Juventus manager Max Allegri. However, Paratici also confirmed that both will stay at the club. This means that the pair will have to sort out their differences and work towards the goal of achieving the dream for which Cristiano Ronaldo was signed: winning the Champions League after failing to do so in two finals since 2015.
