Juventus reportedly reject Man United’s big-money move for Arturo Vidal
Juventus have turned down an approach from Manchester United for highly-sought after Chilean star Arturo Vidal, according to reports in theMetro.
The Chile midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League and there are reports that a deal in the region of £40 million had been readied by Man United for Vidal’s services. However, Juventus are not keen to offload their prized asset and have rejected an approach from the Red Devils for the World Cup stars services.
Manchester United have been keen suitors of the central midfielder, but Juventus have been adamant they would not sell the Chile international. Vidal signed a new contract with the club in December, though there were suggestions that the clubs could reach a compromise with Vidal keen on a move, even if the Italian giants are not.
Th 27-year-old was thought to be part of a deal which would see Nani go to Juventus. However, the Old Lady are not willing to spend money on Nani’s monumental wages.
With Ander Herrera recruited by new manager Louis van Gaal, Vidal may not be first choice at the club if he stays which has made the Chile star consider Real Madrid instead.
Antonio Conte has continuously denied any links for Vidal with other clubs.
