Keventer Cup Allstars lose 0-4 against East Bengal Under-17s

The Allstar team of the Keventer Cup 2013 school football tournament on Sunday played a friendly match against the East Bengal Club Under-17 team, which they lost 0-4 at the East Bengal ground.

The Debanjan Sen Foundation organized Keventer Cup 2013 for school boys was held last month and the best 28 players have been called-up to a football coaching clinic held under ex-footballer Anit Kumar Ghosh as coach.

The best 19 Keventer Cup boys were then picked to face East Bengal’s Under-17 boys and though the boys lost 0-4, it was a great experience for them.

Also after the match it was announced that defender Ankit Mukherjee and striker Aakash Dave have been invited for trials to the East Bengal Under-19 team.
