Kosovo vs Cyprus Prediction and Betting Tips | October 15th 2024
Kosovo play host to Cyprus at the Pristina City Stadium in Group C2 of the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday. Both sides head into the game off the back of contrasting results at the weekend, with Sofronis Avgousti’s men suffering a humbling defeat against Romania.
Kosovo made it back-to-back victories in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday when they held on to see off Lithuania 2-1 at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium.
Before that, Franco Foda’s side had kicked off the campaign with a 3-0 defeat against Romania on September 6, three days before bouncing back in an emphatic 4-0 win over Cyprus.
Kosovo will be backing themselves to continue from where they left off at the weekend as they take on an opposing side who have lost their three encounters in the Nations League.
Cyprus, on the other hand, failed to find their feet in the Nations League as they suffered a 3-0 defeat against Romania at the AEK Arena on Friday.
Avgousti’s men had kicked off the campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Lithuania on September 6 but were sent crashing back down to earth three days later when they lost 4-0 against Kosovo in Larnaca.
With three points from the first nine available, Cyprus are currently third in the Group C2 standings, three points behind Tuesday’s visitors in second place.
