La Liga 2016/17: Neymar gives Luis Suarez a death stare during training
The devastating trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez, lovingly termed as MSN have now managed to establish themselves as one of the most feared striking partnership in the footballing world and have been termed by many pundits as arguably the best trio of attackers to have played together.
While their mesmerizing chemistry on the pitch has been the talk of the town since they came together at Barcelona, it is perhaps there mutual admiration for each other’s skills and abilities that has beloved them to millions of fans worldwide.
However, like any other human being, these supreme footballers too have a funny side to them and the same was on display when the trio were preparing for their Champions League outing against Manchester City on Tuesday.

Seen here in a short video that was uploaded by the Twitter handle, Football Stuff, the trio was in a discussion when Suarez cited an opportunity to send the often easily tumbling Neymar down to the ground while he was trying to tie his laces as he balanced himself partially on a football.

While Neymar did look enraged at the beginning, there was nothing more to it and with Luis Suarez’s eccentricities well-documented, it is not a surprise he decided to pull the prank on his Brazilian teammate. For us, the funniest thing about the video was the reaction of Messi, who seems unabashed by the events.
The trio have expressed their love for each other in the past, with Neymar even going on to claim that it is their friendship on and off the pitch that has helped them forge a formidable partnership despite them being from nations that can be termed as arch-rivals on the International football stage.
"[With Leo and Luis] we get along very well. Not only on the field but mostly, off it. Today I can say we became friends, and when that happens in football you help your mates even more during the matches. We developed a strong bond, being three South American players and 'rivals', it's something very hard to accomplish, but we did it, playing together and forging a good friendship,” said Neymar prior to his side’s Champions League clash against Arsenal in March earlier this year.
But most importantly, it's working well on the field,” he added as the bond between the trio grows with each passing day.
The Catalan giants have begun yet another Champions League on a sound note, thumping Celtic in their opening game and then eking out a win at Borussia Monchengladbach before easily beating their former manager Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at home. However, they will have their task cut out on Tuesday when they face Pep on his own turf and given the quality of players set to be involved, we expect it to be a cracking game of football.
