La Liga 2017: Barcelona player salaries
Barcelona are one of the best clubs in the world currently. They are the only football club ever to win the sextuple, a feat they achieved way back in 2009.
Meanwhile, the Catalan club’s players have won the most FIFA World Player of the Year awards and a record 11 Ballon d’Or awards.
The Blaugrana are the second richest club in the world with an estimated revenue of €620.2 million, behind only Premier League giants Manchester United whose revenue is around €689 million. The Spanish giants are also the third most valuable club in the world with an estimated net worth of €2.8 billion, according to a study conducted by KPMG.
The Catalans have the most expensive wage bill in the world while their Spanish rivals Real Madrid sit second on the list, according to a UEFA report of 2015.

Barcelona spent a huge chunk of money in the last summer transfer window – in the region of €123 million – to sign six players. The Camp Nou outfit signed André Gomes for €35 million from Valencia, Paco Alcácer for €30 million from Valencia, Jasper Cillessen for €13 million from Ajax, Samuel Umtiti for €25 million from Lyon, Lucas Digne for €16.5 million from PSG and Denis Suarez for €3.25 million from Villarreal.
The Catalans also extended the contracts of their two major players; both Luis Suarez and Neymar will stay at the Camp Nou until 2021. It was Neymar who signed a new deal first which increased his salary to £290,000-a-week while Suarez also signed a new contract which sees him earn close to £230,000 per week.
The 2-time treble winners’ highest paid player is Lionel Messi who earns £365,000 a week. On that note, take a look at the salaries of all the players on the club’s roster.
