Leicester City fan tries to convince HR to give him a holiday for religious festival 'Cambiasso'

The former Champions League winner has become quite popular with the Leicester City fans

A Leicester City fan named Andy, also known as @general_dawson on Twitter, asked for a day off from work to celebrate his religious festival ‘Cambiasso’. Almost all companies are tolerant towards every religion and make sure their employees are given a day off when they require one. However, this fan took it a step further and tried to convince the HR team that he was Argentine and belonged to the ‘Cambiasso’ religion.

The 34-year-old Argentine midfielder, who has won the Champions League with Inter Milan, has become a cult hero after his move to Leicester City last summer. The Foxes are still in the relegation zone, but they adore the veteran player and he has a huge fan following.

The HR failed to get the joke and responded to his request with queries about the festival. The prankster in his response to the HR's email quotes the Leicester fans’ chant for the Argentine – “It’s magic you know – Esteban Cambiasso”.

While we're unsure if Andy got his day off, a number of social media users immensely enjoyed the prank.
