Liverpool FC vs Fulham: A chance for the second stringers

Kenny Dalglish and his men will welcome London outfit Fulham to Anfield this weekend with one eye undoubtedly on the FA Cup final against Chelsea come the weekend.

Suspended/wounded players

Liverpool FC have only a small injury list to content with, as only 3 players (Lucas Leiva, Charlie Adam Jack Robinson) all likely to miss out ON the game through injury.

Rested players

In this game, it’s more of a case of who will be rested for the FA Cup final that takes place this weekend. I personally think the ‘confirmed’ absentees would include Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard, Craig Bellamy, Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel and Glen Johnson.

I think that Andy Carroll will be given a lone striker role up front for this one, potentially alongside Dirk Kuyt and Maxi Rodriguez might just make the team for FA Cup final due to his proficient record of scoring 2 goals in 2 games against the Blues this season. Jonjo Shelvey had made it known that he wanted a spot in that FA Cup final, and I reckon he will be given a game to help him boost his credentials ahead of the Wembley game this weekend.
