Reports: Paris Saint-Germain star holds talks with Tottenham
What’s the rumour?
Lucas Moura was shown around Tottenham's training ground as Spurs are considering bidding for the PSG star according to Telegraph. The English publication claim that The Lilywhites will launch a bid for him in the coming days.
Paris Saint-Germain value him at £22 million as per reports in the Telegraph. They also report that his wages, which is reportedly €3 million per season, is not an issue for Spurs.
The report also suggests that Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund were interested in signing him. Manchester United were also linked with a move for the Brazilian winger.
In case you didn’t know…
Unai Emery confirmed earlier this week that Lucas Moura was free to leave PSG this month. "I told Lucas what I thought, with all due respect to him. He no longer has the opportunity to have playing time in Paris and he will have more elsewhere," he told a news conference on Tuesday.
The manager revealed this just hours before the Ligue 1 side signed former Chelsea and Real Madrid midfielder, Lassana Diarra. The Frenchman was a free agent after his contract at Al Jazira was terminated on mutual consent.
Rumour probability: 9/10
Multiple sources have reported this deal over the last 24 hours. Frace Football's Nabil Djellit also confirmed that Moura was in London to hold talks with Tottenham yesterday.
RMC Sport claim that he met Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy to discuss the personal terms ahead of his move. Looking at the overall picture, it looks like a sure shot deal.

Author’s take
Lucas Moura is an amazing talent and he will definitely make Tottenham a better team. Right now, it's difficult to see who he will replace in the starting XI. Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen have been brilliant this season and it will be very difficult for him to get into the team ahead of them.
