Luis Suarez unsure about his future at Anfield

Last season with the Reds?

Luis Suarez is reportedly unsettled at Liverpool due to lack of Champions League action.

The Uruguay international has said that he will wait till summer to decide his future. Suarez is known for the love he has for Liverpool but he has admitted that if the club fails to secure a Champions League spot, he will have to reconsider his future.

Top clubs like Real Madrid, Juventus and Bayern Munich are all interested in the 25-year-old player.

In an interview with a Spanish radio station, Suarez was asked if they should “talk about his future again in June,” Suarez stated bluntly: “Yes, we should talk this June or the next one, in 2014. My contract ends in 2018.”

Suarez insisted that he and his family are happy at Merseyside.

“My family is very happy here and I’m living a dream: playing for a club that every kid wants to play for. So we’re content, for now.”

Suarez explained: “We will see at the end of the season what Liverpool’s position is – we’re not the Liverpool of old. We’re coming out of a rough patch, but this is a transition period with a new gaffer and a different philosophy.

The players enjoy how the manager wants us to play. All we need are the results and to finish in the Champions League spots.

“We would like to qualify for the Champions League if possible. We are young and growing as a team and when the players mature, we will be stronger.”

Previously, Suarez had openly said that he will stay with Liverpool beyond his contract, but skipper Steven Gerrard has raised fears about the forward’s future if the Reds don’t reach the top four.
