Luis Suarez would find it difficult to turn Real Madrid down, claims player’s lawyer

Suarez not only scored the most goals (31) at Liverpool last season, but also created the most chances (87).

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez would find it difficult to turn down the advances of Real Madrid, according to his lawyer.

Suarez, 27, was Liverpool’s best player last season and topped the Premier League scoring charts with 31 goals. He scooped up all of the player awards available to him in England and was clearly the standout player in the country.

After a hard summer prior to the season, where Suarez tried to force a move away from Liverpool, he signed a new deal to keep him at the club for longer, increasing his wages and warning off future interest from clubs, mainly Real Madrid.

The Uruguayan originally signed for Liverpool from Ajax for a fee of £23million.

Suarez has already confirmed his intentions to stay at Liverpool beyond the summer and win the Premier League, his lawyer claims that he would struggle to turn down the Spanish side, who won the Champions League.

“A year ago he was very likely to leave Liverpool,” Alejandro Balbi told Cadena SER.

“Now I think it is very difficult because he is an idol, although clubs can offer a lot of money.

“If there is such a big offer from Real Madrid, it would be very difficult to say no. Luis Suarez has always had a predisposition for Spain.”

In other Suarez news, he is facing a fight for fitness to make the start of the World Cup in under two weeks. He had knee surgery recently but should be okay to play in the group stages.
