Lewandowski angers Bayern chiefs

Bayern Munich and Robert Lewandowski aren't in the best of terms after the striker has openly criticized club's decision to not spend big on the players this summer.

Speaking in an interview with Spiegel, Lewandowski said: "Bayern has to come up with something new and be creative, if the club wants to keep luring world-class players to Munich. And if you want to keep up at the very highest level, you need these players’ quality."

Lewandowski even criticized coach Carlo Ancelotti, his coaching staff and the players for not supporting him enough in the race for Bundesliga's Golden Boot where he fell short by just 1 goal against Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.

These comments have not gone well with the club hierarchy and former star players have gone public with their anger and have even asked the club to get rid of the thankless striker.

Amid the unrest, Kickr have linked Manchester United with a move for the Polish striker after Antoine Griezmann has attracted interest from both Real Madrid and Barcelona in last 24 hours.

Lewandowski was linked with a move to Old Trafford earlier this summer, however, Romelu Lukaku's transfer ended the pursuit, however, Jose Mourinho may be interested in signing Lewa once Zlatan Ibrahimovic bids farewell to his time in Premier League.

Bale and Griezmann eyed in a double deal

Will this rumour ever go away?

Manchester United have started with an audacious plan of signing both Antoine Griezmann and Gareth Bale in a reported £184million deal, according to Manchester Evening News.

United were linked with both the players this summer but failed to close out a deal due to Atletico Madrid's last-minute transfer ban and Real Madrid's reluctance in selling Bale.

However, Ed Woodward is confident of closing out a deal next season after a promising financial start to the 2017/18 season.

According to reports, 9 Man United players feature in the top-30 replica shirt sales since May 1 with Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku holding the number and two positions.

Jose Mourinho is expected to be offered a contract extension this summer and an extended budget to work on the squad next season with Bale and Griezmann being his top 2 targets.

Fosu Mensah urged to make a return

Man United fans do not want Fosu Mensah to play under Hodgson

Following Frank De Boer's sacking at Crystal Palace, Manchester United fans have urged Jose Mourinho to recall Timothy Fosu-Mensah from his loan spell at the club.

According to latest reports, former Fulham and England coach Roy Hodgson is expected to take over at Selhurst Park which has not gone well with the United fans.

Many believe that Hodgson would eventually bench Fosu Mensah for the most part of this season which would eventually halt his progress.

Manchester United are also short in cover for their captain and right-back Antonio Valencia which could prompt Mourinho to recall the 19-year-old and oversee his progress at the club.
