Could Manchester City join the list of "Invincibles" in European football?

Another game day for Manchester City, another victory. Pep Guardiola's men seem to be unstoppable this season, notching up their 18th consecutive victory in the Premier League. Only Bayern Munich, managed by Pep himself, have won more consecutive games in Europe's top five leagues.

In the 2013/14 season, Bayern won 19 consecutive games. Man City could match that when they meet Crystal Palace on New Year's Eve. Although it is too early to say, looking at City's form, they might end up winning the league without losing a single game all season.

It is not unheard of for a team to win their league without losing a game in the process. The most famous team to win in that fashion are Arsenal in the 2003/04 season. They were nicknamed "The Invincibles" for their undefeated season. Along with Arsenal there were other teams that won their respective leagues in a similar fashion.

Here are those other teams.
