Report: Manchester United agree deal to sign Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan
Manchester United have triumphed in the battle of signing AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao for a season long loan, sources all over Europe have confirmed.
The loan deal will cost United £6 million, and they will have an option to sign him on a permanent basis for £43.4 million at the end of this season. It is worth mentioning that the prices have not been confirmed yet, and will be announced soon.
The 28-year-old Colombian striker was linked with a move to Real Madrid, and had even posted a tweet about joining the Los Blancos. However, it seems that Real Madrid had a change of mind, and are on the verge of completing their signing of Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez instead.
Apart from Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester City were also said to have been interested in signing the Colombian hitman.
