Manchester United's Bebe angling for a move to Benifca

Bebe in action for Paços de Ferreira

Manchester United winger Bebe is seeking a way out of Old Trafford and remains keen on a  return to his native Portugal, according to reports.

Bebe, who has been the subject of a lot of ridicule from the Manchester United fans themselves is generally considered as one of the worst transfers made by Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Portuguese has been sent out on loan the last three seasons after he struggled to make any impression at Old Trafford.

The winger now finally seems to have found his feet with his performances last season on loan to Primeira Liga side Paços de Ferreira, where he scored 12 goals in 27 appearances.

"I am waiting for them to tell me when I can travel, as far as I know the clubs are talking. It would be a good opportunity to relaunch my career. I'll certainly have more chances to play and show myself," he told Renascenca.

"I hope everything will be sorted out by the weekend. I want to put my head in place and work at 100 per cent, without any concerns."

Bebe now doesn’t want to go out on loan for a fourth time and wants to draw an end to a spell of three miserable years in England.
