Manchester United in pursuit for Fulham's new Drogba

Moussa Dembele

According to the Sunday Mirror, Manchester United is all set to launch a bid for Fulham’s Moussa Dembele who is dubbed as the next Didier Drogba.

Dembele came into the United radar after producing an impressive performance in front of club assistant-manager Steve Round and coaches Phil Neville and Nicky Butt in an Under-21 game between Fulham and the Red Devils. The youngster scored a brace in the 2-2 draw and overshadowed the return of Darren Fletcher in the game.

The 17-year old French striker moved to Fulham from Paris St. Germain and is already capped at under 17 level for France. Dembele is currently under a contract which runs till 2015 but reports are suggesting that Fulham is already looking to extend the contract further to avoid losing the wonder kid.
