Why not signing Arturo Vidal was a blessing in disguise for Manchester United
Juventus’ Arturo Vidal was forced to sit out of Chile’s team training session in Miami after breaking down in pain due to his knee injury woes, confirms Express.
Chile are scheduled to play two international friendlies with Mexico and Haiti, and reports in Chile suggest that the midfielder will now be undergoing several tests and perhaps a surgery to address the problem before returning to Turin.
It is worth mentioning that Vidal had to go under the knife last season due to troubles with his right knee, and was rushed into recovery to feature in the World Cup.
Manchester United should be considering themselves lucky right now for not going through with the move, especially since two of their new signings, Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw were already out with injuries.
With Andre Pirlo out injured till October, Juventus manager Massimo Allegri now faces the daunting task to cope up without two of their talisman midfielders.
