Manchester United to face Real Madrid in the 2014 International Champions Cup

Manchester United and Liverpool will be among the top eight European teams which already included Real Madrid, Manchester City, AC Milan, Inter Milan, AS Roma and Olympiacos taking part in the 2014 International Champions Cup.

The matches will be played in 12 different cities across the United States in July and August — Dallas, Washington DC, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Denver, Miami, Phoenix, Charlotte, Ann Arbor, Hartford, New York and Philadelphia.

Manchester United will be facing Real Madrid in Ann Arbor, Michigan on August 2 while City are also reportedly due to play AC Milan in Pittsburgh on July 27.

The tournament’s final match last year was played between Real Madrid and Chelsea  in the Sun Life Stadium and the way the players played definitely made it feel like it more than just another friendly.
