Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United: Match preview and team news

Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur - Premier League
Manchester United won the reverse fixture against Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at Old Trafford

Following the acquisition of Alexis Sanchez at a very effective price from Arsenal, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is expected to be showing off his attacking play now, especially considering the rather intended dig from the Armenian international down over at Arsenal, however, it has been keenly observed up until now that the bus is all Mourinho might just have against the top sides.

The United boss will, however, be keen to prove his critics wrong by completing a league double over Spurs and putting further pressure on rival manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur - Capital One Cup Final

It will be Pochettino versus Mourinho tommorow night.

With 99 Premier league goals for Tottenham, a goal-hungry Kane will surely be on the hunt for the Centurion strike and one against the Red Devils is bound to be special, but with some very good performances being put in by opposition stars Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial (who scored the winning goal in the reverse fixture) and of course David de Gea in recent games, United might just be the better team, especially with Sanchez on their side.

Tottenham Hotspur v Everton - Premier League
100TH goal for Kane?

Two draws and three wins in the last five games mean Mourinho's men have not been in bad form at all. Pochettino's Spurs, on the other hand are not doing much better at all either, with a stellar win over Everton being followed by draws with 18th placed Southampton and League 2 side Newport County in the FA Cup.

Both Spurs and The Red Devils are in need of 3 points. Arsenal, in 6th place, will surely try to stay in the European finishing places, while Antonio Conte tries to replace United in second with in form Chelsea.

Yeovil Town v Manchester United - The Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round

A lot will also be expected of new signing Sanchez, as he looks likely to get his Premier League debut with Manchester United. Earning a Man of the Match title on his FA Cup debut is bound to reinforce his determination to prove his worth to the fans, the boss and the pundits.

Team news

Man United will miss Zlatan Ibrahamovic and Eric Bailly's presence, while Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose still doubtful of their spots in Tottenham's squad after respective injuries. Harry Winks and Serge Aurier are set to miss out, meaning Spurs will have to work on their defense in order to stop the Devils from Manchester.

Pundits suggest the game won't go either way or will end with another last minute match savior, but a solid win for either side seems unrealistic at the moment.
