Match Preview: Manchester United vs Fulham

Wayne Rooney

A hungry for win Manchester United side who sit rock solid 7th in the Premiere League table face another desperate rival Fulham, who are at the bottom of the Premiere League table. United having lost eight league matches this season, are desperately hoping to bounce back after last weekend’s unfortunate defeat at the hands of Stoke City.

Both the managers David Moyes and former United coach Rene Meulensteen are under pressure at their respective clubs, with Moyes still baffled after last week’s defeat despite starting Rooney, Van Persie and January recruit Juan Mata all together. On the other hand Rene fights to keep Fulham in the Premiere League and would definitely fancy a win at the ‘Theater of dreams’, which has somewhat lost it’s ‘Fortress’ tag this season.

Manchester United will be favorites for the win as, Fulham have failed to score in eight of their last 12 away games, while conceding 28 goals. While United expect their star trio of Rooney, Van Persie and Mata to start once again in the hope that tonight they could click together.
