Michael Owen to move to Espanyol?

Spanish side Espanyol is all set to offer a surprise move to Stoke City‘s Michael Owen in the January transfer window.

The Spanish club are reportedly on the lookout for a forward, and Owen looks to be the most likely option, given his lack of game time in Stoke City.

Owen has made just one appearance for Stoke City since he joined them in September and has reportedly developed itchy feet in the past few weeks.

According to Marca, Espanyol are ready to offer a very big deal to Owen, and he is said to have enjoyed playing in Spain with Real Madrid, which could make it a tempting deal for the 33-year-old. This deal is expected to completed in the early weeks of January.
