Mohun Bagan Ratna: Late Balaidas Chatterjee to receive the award posthumously

The Executive Committee of Mohun Bagan AC has decided to posthumously award the 2013 Mohun Bagan Ratna to the Late Balaidas Chatterjee with the award set to be handed out on Mohun Bagan Day, which is held every year on July 29.The Late Balaidas Chatterjee played for the green-and-maroons from 1921 into the 1930s, who after his playing career went on to become a referee and a successful coach.

Mohun Bagan Day coupons for members only will be available at a cost of Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 for developmental purpose of the club + Rs. 500 for the programme). Meanwhile, Somlata Chowdhury and Srikanta Acharya will perform on the day.
