Monaco's Jeremy Toulalan believes Falcao will be staying
According to Espnfc, Jeremy Toulalan feels that his Monaco teammate Radamel Falcao will be staying at the club and has countered claims of his departure to Real Madrid. “I don’t get the impression he wants to leave”, he said.
Falcao, since his 60 million euro move from Atletico to Monaco has been performing at good levels for the club. But despite his great settlement at the French club, there have been speculations about his move back to the Spanish capital. The rumours were fueled after Real Madrid president Florentino Perez claimed on a TV Show Punto Pelota on Monday that, “We know he wants to come to Madrid, and that’s understandable.”
Toulalan, who had joined Monaco from Malaga this summer said in an interview at Sportel convention that Falcao according to him has no early intention of leaving the club for Real Madrid.
“You can never say never in football, we don’t know what can happen. But Falcao’s playing rather well with Monaco,” Toulalan said. “Unlike certain strikers, you can see that he also works for the team and defensively. I don’t get the impression that he wants to leave.”
The situation may change should Monaco fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League, which looks to be an unlikely event seeing their tremendous start to the campaign.
