Moussa Sissoko bound for Newcastle
Newcastle continue to make one capture after the other in the January transfer window. Toulose confirmed on their official site as well as on their Twitter handle that they have come to an agreement regarding fees for the transfer of their midfield stalwart Moussa Sissoko. The deal is thought to have cost Newcastle around €2.5 million.

It seems like owner Mike Ashley has woken up to the needs of strengthening the paper-thin squad, as the Magpies look to make their fifth transfer of the window. The Magpies have already seen Mathieu Debuchy, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and Yoan Gouffran sign on the dotted line, while a deal for young left-back Massadio Haidara is also due to be completed in the late hours of Thursday.
Dubbed as the next Pattrick Vieira, Sissoko is a physical, lively, energetic, box-to-box midfielder and would add steel to their midfield. Now a regular in the international scene, the capture would be an absolute bargain at the price.
The deal would see the French contingent in Newcastle’s squad rise to an astonishing ten, if the Haidara deal also goes through. Sportskeeda was on hand to report the four captures that Newcastle have made this week before the first deal of Yanga-Mbiwa was completed.
