Namibia and Tunisia go head-to-head at the Orlando Stadium in Group H of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Sunday. Both sides met in the group stages of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations back in January, with Collin Benjamin’s men claiming a 1-0 victory.
Namibia were denied consecutive victories in the World Cup qualifiers as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Liberia on Wednesday.
Prior to that, Benjamin’s side reached the AFCON round of 16 before suffering a heavy 3-0 defeat at the hands of Angola back in January.
With their midweek draw, Namibia have now picked up seven points from their three matches in the qualifiers to sit second in Group H.
Tunisia, on the other hand, maintained their 100% record in the qualifiers as they picked up a 1-0 victory over Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday.
This followed a penalty-shootout victory over New Zealand in a friendly matchup on March 26 which saw their four-game winless run come to an end.
Tunisia currently lead the way at the top of the Group H standings with nine points from a possible nine while scoring six goals and keeping three clean sheets so far.
