Newcastle defender Davide Santon is practicing for the new season by tackling stewards during his side’s preseason friendly against Fenerbahce over the weekend.

He blamed a wet pitch in Austria for his attempt at a challenge on the ball near the touchline and instead turned it into a slide right into the back of a steward with a boot up the rear.
