Newcastle duo bags the Barclays Monthly Awards

Newcastle duo of Alan Pardew and Tim Krul has bagged the awards of the Barclays Manager of the Month award and the Player of the Month for the month of November.

November has been an exceptionally good month for the Magpies who registered victories in all four of their matches and are now placed seventh in a very competitive EPL table – just three points shy of the Champions League places.

Dutch international Krul has impressed with his performance behind the defence by conceding only two goals in the four matches which included an impressive victory over Tottenham.

Alan Pardew has been a key figure in the club’s improvement and his hard work has paid off with the team carefully making its way to the top half of the League table and it seems that a remarkable turnaround at St James’ Park can be expected in the near future.
