Agent claims Serie A star linked with exit from current club has interest from Manchester United, Chelsea and other clubs
Agent Stefano Caira has claimed Juventus star Federico Chiesa has been monitored by Manchester United, Chelsea, and West Ham. Chiesa has been exit-linked despite being one of the key players for Juve when fit.
The 26-year-old attacker's agent Fali Ramadani is reportedly looking to conclude a deal for the player. Caira, who formerly used to be a director of AS Roma, has now provided an update on the matter, stating that Chiesa is not a primary part of Thiago Motta's plans. CalcioNapoli24 has quoted Caira saying (via Sport Witness):
"He is an outgoing player. The technical plans have changed and evidently the new coach does not see him among the primary players. That said, if he continues to ask for a salary higher than €6 million... I know that West Ham, Manchester United, and Chelsea were following him."
Caira added that West Ham wouldn't offer Chiesa the asked salary. As for the Red Devils, they'd reportedly go for other profiles if Chiesa asks for that much money, and as per Caira, the Blues cannot go crazy high in salaries. Caira added that Napoli could consider a deadline-day move for Chiesa eventually.
Chiesa has shown his quality for clubs like Fiorentina and Juventus as well as for Italy. As per several reports, clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool have also been mentioned as potential suitors for the Italian.
