Al-Nassr coach Luis Castro presents Al-Duhail chief with Cristiano Ronaldo shirt ahead of AFC Champions League clash

Al-Nassr manager Luis Castro presented Al-Duhail's club management with Cristiano Ronaldo's No. 7 jersey ahead of the two sides' AFC Champions League meeting tonight (October 24).

Ronaldo will be in action for Al-Alami as they look to continue their strong start to their AFC Champions League campaign. Castro's men sit at the top of Group E after wins over Persepolis and FC Istiklol.

Al-Nassr are in action tonight against Qatari Stars League outfit Al-Duhail at KSU Stadium. Former Paris Saint-Germain boss Christophe Galtier coaches them and has former Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho in his squad.

Castro presented one of the Qatari club's chiefs with Cristiano Ronaldo's No. 7 shirt. Galtier's men will do well to keep the five-time Ballon d'Or winner at bay tonight.

The 38-year-old has been in prolific form this season, bagging 12 goals and six assists in 11 games across competitions. The Portuguese icon has netted one goal in two AFC Champions League games.

Ronaldo was on target in Al-Nassr's 2-1 comeback win against Damac in the Saudi Pro League on the weekend. He scored a trademark knuckleball free-kick to secure all three points.

Galtier has stressed the need for his Al-Duhail side to defend well when they come up against Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr. The former PSG boss alluded to not only the Portugal captain's free-kick but also Anderson Talisca's from the win against Damac (via The Nassr Zone):

"I watched the last match of Al-Nassr, and of course, we saw the goals of Cristiano and Talisca, so the first point is that we must avoid mistakes in the close areas and defend well."

Al-Duhail are fifth in the Qatari Stars League, winning three of five games. They are third in Group E of the AFC Champions League with one draw and one defeat so far.

Thus, they will need to be at the top of their game to try and stop Ronaldo from continuing his superb start to the season. Galtier has experience with big-pressure games after spending last season at the Parc des Princes.

Galtier led the Parisians to the Ligue 1 title but was sacked this past summer. He boasted a record of 34 wins and 10 defeats in 50 games across competitions during his short stint in charge of the French giants.
