"Baller and warrior"; "Remember the name" - Fans hail Barcelona star for his performance in 4-1 win over Girona

Fans have lavished praise on Barcelona youngster Marc Casado following his impressive performance against Girona. The 21-year-old gave a resounding display as La Blaugrana defeated Girona 4-1 on Sunday, September 15.

A brace from Lamine Yamal and one each from Dani Olmo and Pedri made it five wins from five games for Hansi Flick's side. Casado, who was making his third appearance of the season, provided the assist for Pedri's goal in the 64th minute.

The La Masia graduate also recorded a pass accuracy of 92% and made 56 passes in the game. Following that, fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to applaud the youngster's performance.

"Might have harshly judged Casado. Baller and warrior," one fan praised the Barca star.
"Casado, remember the name," another fan posted.

Some fans asked how Barcelona are able to churn out and deploy scintillating young talents such as Casado.

"Where Barca dey always get these boys from? Look at that Casado lad, huh," a third fan wrote impressed by Casado's display.
"Marc Casado damn what a player. i acc thought Bernal was better than him but im not even sure again atp," another fan tweeted.
"Who is this Marc Casado? Where are Barcelona getting these ballers as midfielders?" yet another fan asked.
"Marc Casado this performance did not go unnoticed You have done well," another commended the youngster.

Barcelona maintain perfect start to 2024-25 season

Hanski Flick's side maintained their perfect start to the 2024-25 campaign with yet another victory. Barca saw off Girona 4-1 at the Estadi Montilivi to make it five wins from five games.

The Catalan club started the season with a 2-1 win over Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium. They then won 2-1 against Athletic Bilbao at home on match day two. Following that, they secured another 2-1 victory at Real Vallecano and finished with a 7-0 win against Valladolid before the international break.

Barcelona are the top favorites to win La Liga this season and hold a four-point lead at the top of the table over second-placed Real Madrid.
