Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong will reportedly earn more salary than Real Madrid's new summer signing Kylian Mbappe in the upcoming season of La Liga, as per 90min.
After years of intense speculation, Real Madrid signed French forward Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a free transfer. The Frenchman has joined the Santiago Bernabeu outfit on a five-year deal, and he's also the highest-earning player in the Real Madrid line-up.
However, the 25-year-old will still earn less than Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong. As per 90min, Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong is the highest-paid player in La Liga, as he earns an annual salary of €37.5 million. Meanwhile, Lewandowski is second on the list with €33.5 million.
Kylian Mbappe takes the third spot with an annual salary of €31.2 million. As per the aforementioned report, only these three players earn more than €30 million annually in La Liga. However, the Frenchman will also earn a significant bonus from the La Liga giants during his time in the Spanish capital.
There are six Real Madrid players in the top 10. Apart from the Frenchman, David Alaba, Vinicius Jr., Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, and Thibaut Courtois are also in the top 10. Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak is in the fifth spot on the list, as he earns €20.8 million annually.

Since then, he has made 148 appearances for the Bundesliga side, bagging 29 goals and 34 assists. However, Dani Olmo garnered the attention of top clubs with his performance at the 2024 European Championships. The 26-year-old made six appearances for Spain, scoring three goals and assisting two.
He scored important goals against Germany in the quarterfinals and France in the semifinals. Spain won their fourth European Championships title by defeating England 2-1 in the final on July 14.
