Hansi Flick's Barcelona are reportedly looking to sign Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez in 2025 on a swap deal, as per Fichajes via Barca Universal. The Argentine midfielder joined the Blues from Portuguese giants Benfica for a reported €120 million in January 2023.

Until last season, Fernandez struggled to settle his feet in the Premier League. During the 2023-24 campaign, he played 40 matches across competitions, bagging seven goals and three assists.

However, under Enzo Maresca, the 23-year-old has already scored three and assisted seven goals in 19 appearances across competitions for Chelsea this season.

With his performance, the Argentine has become a transfer target for multiple top European clubs, including Barcelona. According to the aforementioned report, La Blaugrana are preparing a player swap deal to sign the 23-year-old.

They'll offer Ferran Torres and Frenkie de Jong to Chelsea for Fernandez. However, the Blues are unlikely to let the Argentine midfielder go without a sizeable compensation.
