Barcelona star faces uncertain future as Hansi Flick's stance revealed: Reports
According to SPORT, Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has started losing trust in Ansu Fati and the Spanish forward could leave the La Liga giants in January. Fati has failed to impress the former Bayern Munich manager since returning to Catalonia in the summer after a loan spell in England.
Ansu Fati has been a part of Barcelona's youth squad since 2012 and made his senior team debut in 2020. The Spanish forward has made 119 appearances, bagging 29 goals and 10 assists for the first team. He was loaned by La Blaugrana to English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion during the 2023/24 season.
During the loan spell, Fati made 27 appearances for Brighton across competitions, recording four goals and one assist. Fati returned to La Liga earlier this summer and has since made seven appearances for Barca, failing to provide a goal contribution.
As per the aforementioned report, Hansi Flick is slowly losing trust in the 22-year-old. The German manager is not convinced that Ansu Fati can make match-winning contributions for the La Liga giants. As a result, a winter move for the 22-year-old can't be ruled out.
