Lamine Yamal was one of the major architects of Spain's Euro 2024 triumph
Just a month ago, Mounir Nasraoui was in Germany watching his son shine against the juggernauts of European football as a young Spanish side claimed the Euro 2024 trophy.
Lamine Yamal caused oppositions teams a lot of trouble from the right wing, using his immaculate pace and ball control to dribble past opposition defenders. He would either cut into the center of the field and unleash a swerving shot through his right foot or cross the ball to players waiting inside the penalty box.
One of his most iconic moments in the tournament was his goal against Kylian Mbappe's France in the 21st minute of the semifinals. After receiving the ball just outside the penalty box, the 17-year-old wrong-footed two French defenders and unleashed a left-footed curler to make it 1-1.
Lamine Yamal also provided four assists in Germany and won Young Player of the Tournament after the Spaniards defeated England in the final by a scoreline of 2-1. In that game, Lamine Yamal assisted Nico Williams' first goal in the 47th minute.
