Following Jamal Musiala's stellar start to the UEFA Euro 2024, a Germany fan has claimed that the Bayern Munich star is a better footballer than Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ahead of Germany's 1-1 Group A draw against Switzerland this Sunday (June 23), 433 filmed a fan reaction video featuring a variety of questions. The host asked the aforesaid Germany supporter:

"Musiala is the best player in this tournament?"

Musiala, 21, has begun his Euro 2024 campaign on a good note, helping Germany secure top spot in Group A with seven points from three outings. He has registered two goals so far, starting all three matches.

A right-footed technical operator, the former Chelsea youth star was one of the top performers for Bayern Munich last season. He scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 38 games across all competitions.

Overall, Musiala has found the back of the opposition net 43 times and laid out 31 assists in 163 appearances for Vincent Kompany's outfit. He has helped them win 10 trophies, including four Bundesliga titles.

Turkey midfielder says Cristiano Ronaldo-led Portugal are favorites to win Euro 2024

Earlier on Saturday, Portugal qualified for the Euro 2024 last-16 stage after easing past Turkey. Bernardo Silva and Bruno Fernandes each netted once, while Samet Akaydin scored an own goal in the first half.

After his side's 3-0 Group F loss against Portugal, Turkey star Orkun Kokcu hailed the Cristiano Ronaldo-led team's display. He said (h/t O Jogo):

"We knew that Portugal would attack. I know because I play in the Portuguese league [at Benfica]. I know many of these quality players. We knew it would be a very difficult game. They were better. They won. We have to congratulate them and do our best in the last [Group F] meeting [against Czech Republic]."

Kokcu, who left Feyenoord to join Benfica last summer, concluded:

"We had a plan, but we didn't stick to it 100%. Against a team like Portugal, it is always difficult to dominate the match. I spoke a little with [Benfica teammates] Antonio Silva and Joao Neves... I exchanged shirts with Joao. They are two great players, who will have great careers. Portugal have a chance [of winning the tournament], yes, among other strong teams."

Ronaldo's side, who won the Euro 2016 tournament, will next take on Georgia in a Euro 2024 Group F encounter on Wednesday (June 26).
