"Better than Ousmane Dembele" - PSG fans want 22-year-old star to start ahead of the Frenchman after 3-0 win over Milan

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) handed a crushing defeat to AC Milan in their Champions League bout, comprehensively winning the fixture 3-0. However, Ousmane Dembele failed to appear on the scoring charts, yet again, prompting fans to favor the in-form Lee Kang-in over him.

After infamously losing to Newcastle United in their second UCL match of the season, PSG returned to winning ways by dismantling AC Milan at home. Kylian Mbappe, Randal Kolo Muani, and Kang-in pitched in with a goal apiece, while Warren Zaire-Emery provided two assists.

Dembele once again missed out on an opportunity to open his goalscoring account for PSG. The Frenchman did put the ball in the net in the second half, but the strike was eventually ruled out due to a foul in the lead-up to the goal.

The 26-year-old winger is yet to score his first goal for the Parisians, having only provided two assists in his 11 outings so far. In contrast, newcomer Lee Kang-in was able to bag his first PSG goal against Milan, despite playing fewer overall minutes than the ex-Barcelona man.

Consequently, fans were quick to jump on social media and call the Frenchman out. A lot of them even expressed their desire for the Asian superstar to start over Ousmane Dembele, with one of the fans stating:

"Lee Kang In better than Ousmane Dembele. He makes PSG more creative."

Dembele controversially switched allegiances earlier this summer, opting to move to France. However, from the looks of it, he is yet to find a consistent run of form at his new club.

On the other hand, Lee Kang-in could not have wished for a better start to his career at PSG. The South Korean forward has quickly won over fans, following his summer move from Mallorca, through his on and off-field exploits.

Nevertheless, Lee Kang-in has only played 252 minutes across all competitions this season, despite his immense popularity and potential.

Lee Kang-in recently took over Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele as PSG's highest shirt seller

Adding to his status as a fan-favorite, Lee Kang-in also took over the PSG merchandise department by becoming the player with the most jerseys sold. His fame in South Korea was enough to propel him over Kylian Mbappe, who comes second in the list (via SPORT).

Having recently opened an official store in Seoul, the French giants witnessed a frenzy from supporters out there. Fans lined up in mile-long queues to get their hands on PSG merchandise, with Lee Kang-in's jerseys getting the most attraction.

Despite his impressive showing on the shirt-sale front, the Asian superstar still falls short of Lionel Messi's record. The Argentinian maestro sold over 830,000 jerseys within 24 hours of signing for PSG, creating a unique record in the process.
