Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says he is unhappy after recent loss to Liverpool

Speaking to club media, Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag claimed that he was not happy with his team's defensive performance against the Reds. He elaborated:

"There were mixed feelings, I would say. I think I have seen positive bits, but the way we concede goals, we are, of course, not happy with it. Of course, Liverpool are a very good side. They are very aggressive, and they have lots of goalscoring abilities, so they did very well. But the way we conceded, we are not happy with it."

Lauding the club's fans for their support in Columbia, Ten Hag added:

"I am really pleased [with the support]. It was enjoyable to play here. The ambience, the fans, the togetherness, it made a brilliant atmosphere, and it was really enjoyable to play in this atmosphere."

In their last pre-season friendly clash, United relished 47% possession, registered 18 shots, and completed 380 passes with 84% accuracy.

Manchester United will take on Manchester City in the FA Community Shield clash at Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday (August 10).
