Liverpool fans react as head coach Jurgen Klopp created an Instagram account ahead of his farewell to the club on Sunday after his nine-year managerial tenure. He went live under the username @kloppo today and shared some words for the fans to mark the launch.
Klopp's Instagram bio read, "The Normal One."
The German took charge in 2015 and led the Reds to their first Premier League title in 30 years in the 2019–20 season. He also won the first FA Cup since 2006 in the 2021–22 campaign. Klopp's list of honors for the club includes the 2021–22 and the 2023–24 EFL Cup, the 2018–19 UEFA Champions League, the 2022 FA Community Shield, the 2019 UEFA Super Cup and the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup.
After seeing the Liverpool boss' newly created Instagram account, fans shared their opinions and appreciation on social media.

Some fans were surprised to see Klopp on Instagram.

"Why is every retiring German opening an Instagram account now?" another said.
Jurgen Klopp has been named the Premier League Manager of the Season twice (2019–20 and 2021–22) and won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Coach Award in 2020.
Arne Slot confirms he will replace Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager
Arne Slot has confirmed he will be succeeding Jurgen Klopp as the next manager of Liverpool. The Dutch coach is leaving Feyenoord to join the Reds this summer.
Slot signed his contract with Liverpool on Friday and announced his new venture at Anfield, per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
"I can confirm that I will be new Liverpool manager next season," Slot said.
Slot has been heavily linked with his upcoming move to Anfield for some time now. Last month, Jurgen Klopp spoke about the Dutchman (via Barrons.com).
"I like the way his team plays football," Klopp said. "If he is the one, I like that he wants it. It's the best job in the world, best club in the world."
Arne Slot took charge of Feyenoord in 2021 and has led the squad to win the 2022–23 Eredivisie and the 2023–24 KNVB Cup. He also won the Rinus Michels Award twice during his tenure (2021–22 and 2022–23).
