Bukayo Saka or Vinicius Jr? Cole Palmer or Michael Olise? Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala picks his favorite between players

Bayern Munich forward Jamal Musiala has picked his favorite between players like Bukayo Saka, Vinicius Jr, Cole Palmer, and Michael Olise. In an interview for collectible card giants Topps and football media outlet GOAL, the 21-year-old started by picking between two goalkeepers.

He opted for the latter when asked to choose between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)'s Gianluigi Donnarumma and Borussia Dortmund's Gregor Kobel. He then picked his Bayern teammate Palhinha over Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Granit Xhaka.

Next, Musiala had to pick between Arsenal's Declan Rice and Liverpool's Alexis Mac Allister, and he went for the England international. Between Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo and PSG's Warren Zaire-Emery, he picked Mainoo.

Next he was asked to choose between Chelsea talisman Cole Palmer and his teammate Michael Olise, and unsurprisingly, he picked the Bayern winger. Between Gunners' winger Bukayo Saka and Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr, who came second in the 2024 Ballon d'Or ranking, he picked the Brazilian international.

He picked Saka's teammate Gabriel Martinelli over Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho after admitting he barely watched the Argentine winger play. He also picked Leverkusen playmaker Florian Wirtz over Manchester City's Phil Foden.

Next, he picked AC Milan's Rafael Leao over Madrid forward Endrick, and then refused to pick between Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.

Arsenal manager Arteta compares Bukayo Saka and Vinicius Jr

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has compared Bukayo Saka and Vinicius Jr in a recent press conference. Saka was the shining light in their recent UEFA Champions League clash against Monaco, which the Gunners won 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium on December 11.

The England international scored two goals and assisted the third, leading the attack impressively for Arsenal. In his post-match press conference afterwards, Mikel Arteta was asked if Bukayo Saka could be compared to the likes of Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane and Madrid winger Vinicius Jr. He said (via GFFN):

“You have to be able to do that consistently for many years to be in that position. What he’s done at his age, you can put in brackets because you can compare what he’s done in his first six years of professional football, which is exceptional.
"That’s it. His aim is to improve. He has the players and the environment around him to continue to do and I’m sure that he will.”

Saka has been instrumental for the Gunners this season. He has scored nine goals and provided 12 assists in 22 games so far.
