Chelsea and Arsenal suffer blow as PSG launch €100 million move for top target: Reports

Luis Enrique's Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly the frontrunners over Chelsea and Arsenal to sign Newcastle United's Alexander Isak, as per Spanish outlet Fichajes.net. The 25-year-old is linked with a move outside the St. James Park in 2025.

Isak has been on the radar of top European clubs such as Chelsea, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and more. Blues boss Enzo Maresca sees the Swedish forward as an upgrade for Nikolas Jackson. Meanwhile, Arsenal seek Isak as the long-term replacement for Gabriel Jesus.

However, as per the aforementioned report, both English top-tier clubs have suffered a major blow in Isak's transfer race as PSG are ready to offer a €100 million contract to the 25-year-old.

Les Parisians are keen to sign the Swedish forward after Randal Kolo Muani has failed to perform consistently for the Ligue 1 giants. Kolo Muani scored two and assisted one goal for Luis Enrique's side in 14 competitions.

The Swedish forward joined Newcastle United from La Liga side Real Sociedad in the summer of 2022. Since then, Alexander Isak has made 85 appearances for the Magpies, bagging 46 goals and nine assists across all competitions. The Swedish attacker has scored 10 goals in the Premier League this season in addition to four assists in 15 matches.

Arsenal interested in signing Chelsea's 26-year-old midfielder: Reports

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the winter transfer window, as per CaughtOffside. Dewsbury-Hall joined the Blues from Leicester City earlier this year in July.

Since joining the Blues, the Englishman has made 15 appearances across all competitions, scoring two and assisting one goal. Due to lack of game time, the English midfielder is expected to leave the Stamford Bridge outfit this winter. However, as per the aforementioned report, a few clubs are interested in securing Dewsbury-Hall's services.

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are among the top clubs interested in signing the 26-year-old. They also signed Raheem Sterling on a loan deal from the Blues during the summer transfer window.

Apart from the Gunners, the likes of Rangers, Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City, Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, Brentford, Fulham, and more are also interested in signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
