Chelsea legend John Terry makes £20million profit as he sells mega-mansion

Chelsea legend John Terry has made a massive £20 million profit by selling his 18th century mansion in Surrey for £23 million.

Terry bought the property for £4.1 million in 2019 and has since renovated it with wife Toni. They installed several facilities in the house before selling it for good. A source said on the matter (via The Sun):

“John and Toni have a real eye for interior design. They built a huge outdoor swimming area - with a bar - which is perfect for parties, and modernised other rooms. They put in a gym, and rebuilt the garages to host a fleet of luxury sports cars.”

Terry has been linked with four other properties in the Surrey Estate, one of the msot exclusive areas in Britain, as well. A source confirmed the Chelsea legend's interest in more property investments, telling:

“They have made a huge profit which they can now use to invest in other homes. It’s a pretty tidy sideline.”

John Terry recently made an admission about potentially becoming the Chelsea manager in the future

John Terry joined Leicester City in a first team coaching role alongside recently appointed manager Dean Smith. Since his return to coaching, there has been speculation about a possible return to Stamford Bridge for the former Blues captain.

Before taking the coaching position at Leicester, however, Terry stated that he was not too keen on a managerial position except if Chelsea came in with an offer. He said (via 90min):

"I'm done from a managerial perspective... the only job I'd come out of 'retirement' for would be the Chelsea job, or some capacity in a first-team role."

Terry added:

"I love my role at the minute. I've got a bit of work where I'm working with the younger players. Because I've been through that process as a kid myself, I'm passing on loads of knowledge to them, I'm having conversations, which I love."

While his former teammate Frank Lampard is currently the caretaker manager of the Blues, judging by Terry's admission, the chances of seeing him in a similar role are slim.
