Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia offers hilarious 5-word response after teammates rank him as sixth best looking player in the squad

Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia responded in a hilarious manner to his teammates ranking him as the sixth-best looking player in their squad. The Blues are currently in the USA, preparing for the 2024-25 season with a number of friendlies lined up.

The Belgian midfielder signed for the Blues in the 2023 summer transfer window but missed their pre-season. Lavia also missed most of the season, playing only 32 minutes in the 2023-24 term. The former Southampton man is now with the squad in the USA for the pre-season tour.

His teammates, Wesley Fofana, Lesley Ugochukwu and Christopher Nkunku played a game where they had to blind rank their teammates according to their looks.

When Lavia's face came up in the game, they put him in sixth place on their list. Their ranking of the midfielder prompted him to respond to them, and he jokingly threatened them.

"6? 🤔 ok see you at breakfast."

In the TikTok video, Ugochukwu was ranked 10th while Nkunku was ranked third. Benoit Badiashile was in ninth place, with Cesare Casadei coming in eighth and Axel Disasi in seventh. Marcus Bettinelli was fifth and Bashir Humphreys was in fourth place. Armando Broja was blindly ranked as the second-best and Djordje Petrovic was ranked as the best-looking in the squad.

Lavia has featured in each of Chelsea's first two pre-season matches against Wrexham and Celtic in the USA. New manager Enzo Maresca has also been able to have the likes of Fofana, Nkunku, Ugochukwu and Reece James for the start of pre-season.

Chelsea fall to Celtic as pre-season woes continue

Chelsea lost 4-1 to Scottish champions Celtic, failing to win their second successive pre-season match. The Blues were second-best in all aspects of the game as Celtic followed up a 4-3 triumph against Manchester City with another win.

Brendan Rodgers' side took the lead in the first half when Matt O'Riley converted from close range. Japan international Kyogo Furuhashi doubled his side's advantage as they picked the Chelsea backline apart with ease.

Celtic scored two more times in the second half through Luis Palma and Michael Johnston before Christopher Nkunku scored a late consolation for Chelsea. The Blues will next face Club America as they continue to prepare for the new season, with friendlies against Manchester City, Real Madrid and Inter Milan still to come.
