Chelsea star Malo Gusto publicly supports PSG attacker for taunting former club, shares Instagram update

Chelsea star Malo Gusto has publicly supported Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) attacker Bradley Barcola after the latter taunted former club Olympique Lyon.

Barcola and Gusto both came through Lyon's youth academies. However, they were sold in the new regime, led by John Textor. Lyon supporters, though, have made their feelings clear towards the players and they believe both left the club at a crucial time when the team were fighting with relegation.

Barcola was previously greeted with hostility when PSG played Lyon back in September. The same was the case when the Parisians defeated Lyon 4-1 at the Parc des Princes on Sunday, April 21. The Lyon supporters even held a banner with a message to Barcola, that read (via Get French Football News):

"Leaving your formative club during the storm, you're sh*t."

Barcola reciprocated by wildly celebrating in front of his former team's fans and Chelsea's Malo Gusto has supported the former's move. He uploaded a photo on his Instagram story, captioning it:

"The justice of god. Only justice."

Malo Gusto will miss Chelsea's clash against Arsenal

Malo Gusto suffered a knock during Chelsea's FA Cup semi-final clash against Manchester City. While facing up against City substitute Jeremy Doku in the latter stages of the match, Gusto felt pain in his knee.

He was subsequently replaced in the 79th minute. Mauricio Pochettino has now confirmed that Gusto will miss the Premier League away clash against Arsenal on Tuesday, April 23. He said (via football.london):

"Malo suffered a minor problem on his knee. I am not a doctor but I will try and translate it, I hope it's not a big issue."

Gusto has been a key player for the Blues, making 33 appearances across competitions, and providing eight assists. Apart from Gusto, Cole Palmer and Ben Chilwell will also miss the trip to the Emirates.
