Cristiano Ronaldo reacts on social media after Al-Nassr's 5-1 win over Al-Ain in the AFC Champions League

Cristiano Ronaldo has made a celebratory post on social media after Al-Nassr's 5-1 victory against Al-Ain in the AFC Champions League on November 5 at Al-Awwal Park. Following the win, the Knights of Najd are third in Group B with 10 points from four matches.

Al-Nassr opened the scoring through Talisca's right-footed strike after being set up by Mohamed Simakan in the fifth minute. Cristiano Ronaldo doubled his side's lead with a left-footed shot from close range in the 31st minute.

Al-Nassr's third goal came from an own goal by Al-Ain defender Fábio Cardoso in the 37th minute. The visitors scored a consolation goal in the 56th minute as Brazilian goalkeeper Bento put the ball into his own net.

Wesley scored the fourth goal for the hosts through an assist by Angelo in the 81st minute. Talisca netted the last goal of the match after being set up by Wesley with a through ball in second-half stoppage-time.

Following the victory against Al-Ain in the AFC Champions League, Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media and shared pictures from the match with the caption:

"Big win! 💪🏼"

Cristiano Ronaldo was subbed off in the 79th minute of the AFC Champions League clash. The Portuguese icon took 48 touches and played two key passes while maintaining a pass accuracy of 79%. He has recorded 10 goals and three assists in 14 appearances across competitions for Al-Nassr so far this season.

Stefano Pioli opens up after Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr bag win against Al-Ain in the AFC Champions League

Al-Nassr head coach Stefano Pioli shared his thoughts on his squad's performance against Al-Ain in the AFC Champions League. The Italian manager was appointed by the Knights of Najd in September after they dismissed Luís Castro.

Al-Nassr maintained 58% possession and had 11 shots on target against Al-Ain. In the post-match conference, Stefano Pioli spoke about the improvement in his squad and said (via @TheNassrZone on X):

"A very important victory. The team's level has increased and this is the most important thing."
"I said that we will increase the pace in order to develop and implement what we want match after match. I know the team well now, not only through matches but also through training and we record all the data and characteristics. You need two months to evaluate and during the last two months we evaluated the team," Pioli added.

Stefano Pioli's men will face Al-Riyadh next in the Saudi Pro League on November 8, at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium. The Knights of Najd are currently third in the league table with 19 points from nine matches.
